The Centre for Gender and Community Development in Zimbabwe (CGCDZ) which was legally registered and established on the 1st September 2016 is a registered non-governmental organization that promotes community development of gender sensitive projects through the utilisation of local endowments focusing on economic empowerment, climate change, mitigation and adaptation and research, advocacy and learning. The organisation endeavours to economically empower and improve the living conditions of the poor and marginalized communities. CGCDZ takes community centred and community led initiatives as the basis for all interventions and livelihood activities. This enables them to contribute towards mainstream development processes.
